What each new sign-up goes through

The journey has 4 steps, built from events your product already sends. Each person moves through at their own pace.

  1. Trigger

    They sign up

    Your app sends a signed_up event. Include anything you’ll want later, like their plan or where they came from. The journey starts on that event.

  2. Wait

    Give them a day

    Give them time to look around before you say anything. If they create a project during the wait, they move on right away.

  3. Check

    See whether they did the key action

    Pick the one action that shows your product working for them, like creating a project. People who’ve done it have reached the goal. Everyone else gets a nudge. A branch can also check traits, like plan or role, or how someone engaged with an earlier message.

    Runs on Journeys. Branching on traits uses Profiles.

  4. Send

    Nudge them by email or SMS

    Send an email, or a text to people who opted in to SMS. We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC for your email. Texts respect quiet hours, and we handle STOP and HELP replies.

  5. They create a project, and the messages stop

    The goal is the key action itself. Whenever someone reaches it, they leave the journey and get no more messages from it.
